There are big smiles all round at Dream The Change CIC, as a generous new sponsor is helping even more families take part in one of our activities.
Thanks to a kind donation from business advisor and supporter David Smail, more children with special educational needs can now attend our hugely popular Airhop Open Jump Sessions.
“We’re so happy to share that we’ve secured sponsorship to allow more young people to enjoy our Airhop sessions,” said Jemal Allabayeva, Co-Founder/Executive Director of our award-winning Community Interest Company.
“These events organised by Dream The Change mean so much to the families we support, and David’s generosity will make a real difference.”
Our monthly Airhop sessions held at Airhop, Mason Road, Cowdray Centre, Colchester, Essex, have been in such high demand since we started them last year, that we’ve struggled to fit everyone in. With this new funding, we can open the doors to more children who are eager to join in the fun.
“A heartfelt thank you to David for his amazing support of our community,” said Jemal.
Grateful for Continued Support
We’d also like to thank Sally Anderson-Wai of Write Wai PR & Copywriting Services for her continued support. Sally has helped us for a number of years by providing blog content, social media management, PR and marketing advice at a generously discounted rate. Her support plays a big part in spreading the word about our work.
We’re also very grateful for those who have volunteered with us and for the funding we’ve received from:
The National Lottery Coronovirus Community Support Fund
The National Lottery Community Fund
The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, in partnership with HM Government, the Essex Local Delivery Pilot and Essex County Council.
Active Essex Fund and more.
All of this vital support allows us to keep running our events, and helping the families who rely on us.
This funding allows us to provide: arts and crafts sessions; parent tea sessions; sports and movement activities; excursions and inclusive events; training sessions for families from professionals along with venue hire and essential resources.
